Ukraine: Germany Takes in over 1 Million Refugees From the War
Germany has taken in over 1 million refugees from Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion in February, according to the German interior ministry. And while a portion of those have traveled on to other European countries or returned home, the influx is still at about 800 a day.
From February 24 to August 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 45,200 Russian invaders. In particular, the Ukrainian troops destroyed:
